The Oregon State Fair

If a picture is worth a thousand words, I’m sure this conglomeration would constitute a novel.

I’ve fallen into a pattern of forgetting my camera during weekend festivities.
As it turns out,  it’s not the ‘more adult’ thing to do,
it’s simply a missed opportunity to document your life.

I went and watched the movie The Help to celebrate Labor Day with my mother, (ironic, no?)
One of my favorite parts of the movie is the character Aibileen,
who teaches each child she raises to know  that they are smart, kind and important.

Aren’t you kind, smart, and isn’t your life  *important* enough to be remembered? I think so.
Don’t sell yourself short, grab your camera and savor those memories.

Have a sensational summer finale, soak up those last glorious drops of sunshine whilst we have them. xox.
