{happy October!}

As promised, a seasonally inspired recipe.
(And it’s for people who can’t actually cook! Let’s ease into this together.)

I have a confession.
I’m obsessed with gingery-cinnamony-goodness.
By obsessed, I mean that I have been known to visit Cold Stone Creamery
to enjoy their gingersnap milkshakes for 3+ days in a row.
I have a problem, and I’m willing to accept it.

My acceptance this season will start with this sure-to-be
delectable recipe for a pumpkin milkshake:
(Notice the gingersnap crumbles? Yep, they’re a must!)

'yum' doesn't really seem to cover it.

Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

(makes 1 milkshake)

2 cups vanilla frozen yogurt
1/4 cup milk
1/3 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoon gingersnap cookies (crumbled) optional.

1. Blend everything other than the gingersnap cookies in a blender.
2. Serve garnished with the gingersnap cookies.

October only comes once a year friends,
find some local pumpkin patches and shake ’em up.

seasons greetings, xox.
